2. Our Services
Photo Restoration and Colourisation
We use advanced digital techniques to repair damage such as fading, scratches, or tears, and where desired, apply realistic colourisation to black and white photographs.
3. Home Visits
We offer free, no-obligation home visits within Seaford and surrounding villages to assess your photographs and provide tailored advice.
During a visit, we will:

Assess the condition of your photograph(s)
Discuss restoration or retouching options and colourisation outcomes
During a visit, we may collect photographs for scanning and restoration.
Original items are handled with the utmost care, but customers are advised that older or fragile photographs may be at risk during handling or scanning.
We cannot accept liability for any pre-existing damage or deterioration.
Provide a clear quotation before work begins
Travel outside our normal area may incur an additional fee, which will be agreed in advance.
4. Handling of Original Photographs
We understand the sentimental and historical value of your photographs.
All handling is carried out with the utmost care and confidentiality.
Your original photograph will be safely stored and returned upon completion.
While every effort is made to ensure the safe keeping of your materials, we cannot accept liability for loss or damage caused by factors beyond our control (e.g. postal delays, accidents, or acts of nature).

With your consent, we will carefully collect your photograph for professional scanning and restoration at our premises in Seaford.Return & Approval
Within approximately one week, we will return your original photograph along with a restored, colourised or retouched print.Payment
Payment is only due once you are fully satisfied with the results.
6. Orders and Payment
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£).
We accept cash and card payments upon completion.
Online purchases through our website must be paid at the time of ordering.
Work will not commence until both parties have agreed to the quoted price.
7. Turnaround Times
We aim to complete standard restoration work within 7 working days of collection.
Timescales may vary depending on workload and complexity, and we will inform you of any delays.
8. Ownership, Copyright and Permissions
You confirm that you own the photograph or hold all necessary rights to authorise restoration and reproduction.
You retain ownership of your original photographs.
Seaford.Photography retains copyright of any digitally restored or edited versions created, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We will never use copies of completed work for promotional purposes (e.g. website or exhibitions) unless you have specifically approved this. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
9. Quality and Satisfaction
Every restoration or colourisation is carried out using professional methods and tools.
While we make every effort to ensure an accurate and realistic result, some variation may occur due to:
The condition and detail of the original image
Age, fading, or physical damage
Subjective interpretation of colours in old black-and-white photographs
Minor artistic differences or interpretations should not be considered defects.
10. Refunds and Adjustments
You only make payment after you have approved the final result.
If you are not fully satisfied, we will make reasonable adjustments free of charge.
Once a final image has been accepted and paid for, refunds are not normally available.
11. Delivery and Returns
Original photographs and restored prints will be personally returned to you or made available for collection.
While we handle all materials with care, Seaford.Photography cannot accept liability for pre-existing damage, deterioration due to age, or issues caused by postal or courier services.

Local markets and exhibitions
Products are made to order, and colours may vary slightly from digital previews.
For online sales, customers have a 14-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, except for personalised or custom-made items.
